But what’s important is that everything you need is there. Also, HSV Dating is designed in a way that makes this website very easy to navigate and use, which is very important. 

The process of signing up is incredibly easy and only takes a few seconds to fill four basic steps. Navigating the website is just as easy and quick since there aren’t too many features and the website is organized in a clever and intuitive way. Features

As you already read in our HSV Dating review, this is not the most feature-rich website around. However, that’s not to say that you won’t be getting everything you could possibly need in terms of features. Well – almost everything. HSV Dating has e-mailing, chat rooms, browsing, “Who’s Online,” basic and advanced search, photo and video upload and flirts, but it doesn’t have instant messaging (IM). It’s a shame since many people prefer IMs to regular e-mails, but it’s not the end of the world. There are still plenty of other ways to communicate (e-mail, chat, and even flirts), so you won’t terribly miss the IM feature.

When you sign up for a free account, you get to create a profile and put it out there for everyone to see. You can also upload pictures. You can send and receive flirts and you can browse and search for users in your area. However, you cannot send or receive e-mails. This, and several other features, is reserved for those with premium accounts.

You can also block a user you don’t like, which is especially handy in case someone gets on your back and has no intention of leaving you alone. Block is a great feature that literally makes them invisible to you. There is also a completely opposite feature, “favorites.” It allows you to add people to your list of favorites so you can have all your interests and crushes in one place.

Members

We contacted several people on the website for the purposes of this HSV Dating review and we were extremely pleased to find that the members are very honest, open, and friendly folks, very keen to meet other singles with herpes and start relationships. These people understand better than anyone how hard it can be to find love when you have HSV and that’s very reassuring and comforting to know.

HSV Dating has members from all over the world, even though Americans are in a great majority. There is an almost even number of women and men and the website is very active at all hours. Members like to post more than just one picture and many of them also upload videos. This, combined with nicely-filled profiles (some biographic info, interests, marital status, etc.) is the key to successful online dating: the more you share about yourself (within the limits of online safety and privacy, of course) the better your chances of finding a match.
